Our Church
Victory Baptist Church is a friendly, family oriented, Bible preaching, Christ centered, Independent Baptist Church, established for the purpose of carrying out the Great Commission according to Matthew 28:18-20.
our goal is to win people to the Lord, baptize them, bring them into the fellowship of the Church, teach them to observe the commandments of Christ, provide an atmosphere for growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, and help them through the word of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit to mature and know God's will for their life and to provide an opportunity for them to use their spiritual gift through the ministry of the local Church.
The Bible
Victory Baptist Church believes in the verbal plenary inspiration of the Bible as written in 2 Timothy 3:16.
The Bible is the revelation of the will of God to man, and is the final authority on all matters.
VBC uses the King James version of the Bible in all areas of ministry.
Creation
Victory Baptist Church believes in the Bible's account of the creation as stated in Genesis 1:1.
Salvation
Jesus Christ is the only way to God (John 14:6) and that salvation is by grace through faith as written in Ephesians 2:8-9.
Church
We believe in the autonomy of the local church under the headship of Christ Colossians 1:18. We believe the mission of the church as given byour Lord in
Matthew 28:18-20.
